Job Description
Chickering School in Dover MA is seeking a Kindergarten Educational Assistant to work with classroom teachers and students to support academic and social-emotional learning activities supervise lunchroom and recess and assist teachers with materials preparation. Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from general education responsibilities:-To nurture and support students.-Support and facilitate classroom activities and instruction-Implement designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans-Communicate with educators regarding student progress-Assist classroom teachers in creating materials for student use.-Supervision of studentsJob requirements:-Associate or Bachelors degree-Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction-Ability to work well with others-Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills-Work the school year calendar plus 3 extra days unities for diversity equity and inclusion. Our Educators are engaged in a collective effort to improve understanding and deepen practices to actively foster racial literacy and cultural competency.
