Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician Position in Albany NY
Join a renowned group practice within the vibrant Capital District of New York. This exceptional opportunity is based in two prominent hospitals: St. Peters Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The practice established in 1980 is committed to providing state-of-the-art cardiovascular care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across two hospital locations: St. Peters Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
- Specialize in treating Non-Invasive Cardiology cases with procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills along with a commitment to high-quality team-oriented care.
- Maintain a shift schedule of 50% hospital duties and 50% outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- Participate in on-call duties: 1 weeknight per week (phone call) and a weekend call rotation of 1:5 with support from Advanced Practice Providers.
- Join a well-respected group dedicated to delivering evidence-based cardiovascular treatment and engage in a variety of services including General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates but cannot accept J-1 waivers.
- Encourage applications from recent graduates and experienced candidates alike.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Cardiology - REQUIRED
- New York State Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Board Eligibility/Certification in Cardiology
- Valid New York State Medical License
