Job Description
Job Title: Gynecologic Oncologist
Join a mission-driven organization as a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist in Muskegon Michigan. This opportunity allows you to contribute significantly to our expanding cancer care network that serves the vibrant communities of Grand Rapids and Muskegon. Here you will partner with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing patient experience and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Join a rapidly growing cancer network encompassing subspecialists in breast thoracic and gynecologic oncology.
- Manage patients through their entire cancer care journey providing advanced medical and surgical treatments.
- Prioritize quality of life and effective symptom management for all patients.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including APPs navigators social workers and palliative care specialists.
- Participate in both clinic and hospital-based care with 1 to 2 OR days per week.
- Share on-call responsibilities in a 1:3 rotation.
- Operate as part of The Cancer Network of West Michigan a partnership with University of Michigan Health West.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as daVinci robotics TrueBeam CyberKnife and brachytherapy.
- Provide care within a highly accredited system (CoC NAPBC ACR etc.).
- Note: Not accepting Locums candidates.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained specifically in Gynecologic Oncology (REQUIRED).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain board certification within 2 years of eligibility; REQUIRED).
- Must hold a Michigan state medical license (or be willing to obtain; REQUIRED).
- Current DEA license (REQUIRED).
- ACLS and BLS certifications (REQUIRED).
