About the role
Were hiring for a part-time Warehouse Associate to join Ridwells operations team in Puyallup WA supporting daily warehouse activities and occasionally driving company vehicles to complete member pickups. Ideal candidates are those who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to raise the bar on how we live out our mission every day. It is critical that candidates are team players who come up with creative ways to solve problems.
Wage: $21/hour when working in the warehouse; $25.50/hour when driving
Schedule: Three 9-hour shifts (8 AM - 6 PM); flexibility on scheduled days overall with Mondays required

Job Duties
- Load and unload items into and out of company vehicles.
- Open empty and sort the contents of cotton drawstring bags into larger containers with care for reuse and recycling.
- Prepare shipments by loading boxes into trucks.
- Work safely outdoors in all weather and temperature conditions.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Drive company vehicles (primarily high-roof cargo vans) to complete member pickups bin deliveries and other service needs.
- Use smartphone tools (GPS Ridwell Fleet app communication tools) to manage routes pickups and deliveries.
- Report discrepancies and communicate route timing issues to Fleet Support.
- Flex into extra stops when needed to support the team.
- Deliver bins and bags to new members and explain Ridwells service during onboarding.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned to support warehouse and driving operations.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and follow written or oral instructions in English.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps.
- Ability to be on your feet or on a van route all day.
- Ability to communicate effectively digitally over text message and email.
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid CA drivers license and be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time frequently push pull squat bend and reach and lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- High school GED or equivalent diploma.
- Must be available to work Monday and Wednesday and as needed.
- Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.
