Summary
Measure and fit off-the-shelf and custom fitted orthoses to a customer under a physicians order. A specifically trained individual who provides or manages the provision of quality post-mastectomy products to client.Job Description
Will evaluate measure (and/or cast) the client when determining the appropriate fitting mastectomy products. Will follow the customer input process to qualify the customer and obtain the necessary information and signatures to process orders accurately and efficiently. Update account maintenance and files with all pertinent information. Become knowledgeable of product specialty lines and insurance coverage of that product. Answer the telephone and ask probing questions to screen calls and schedule for the appropriate individual.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
On the job training in custom orthotic fitting by a privileged Orthotist completion of the orthotic fitter course or documentation of a minimum of one year previous experience.
Certified Fitter in Orthotics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required. Mastectomy certification is not required at the time of hire but will be required within a designated time frame after hire.
Current valid drivers license and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
