As a member of the care management team our behavioral health care management clinicians provide clinical care management to best meet the members specific healthcare needs and to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes. You would oversees a collaborative process with the member and those involved in the members care to assess plan implement coordinate monitor and evaluate care as needed. all in service of creating a person-focused health.

What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Behavioral Health Discipline
Must have 3 years direct behavioral health clinical experience as an independently licensed Masters level Behavioral Health Clinician (no associate or interns) in one of the areas of Psychology Counselling Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy (LICSW LCSW LMHC LPC and LMFT). Clinical License must be unrestricted and current in state of residence
CCM preferred or ability to obtain
Skills and Attributes:
Knowledge of health insurance industry trends technology and contractual arrangements.
General computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office Outlook internet search).
Familiarity with health care documentation systems.
Strong oral written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to interpret policies and procedures make decisions and communicate complex topics effectively.
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage workload independently.
Ability to think critically and make decision within individual role and responsibility.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Conducts comprehensive case management: assessment (collecting member information to identify needs) planning (setting objectives to meet needs) implementation (executing activities to achieve goals) coordination (organizing resources) and monitoring/evaluation (determining plan effectiveness).
Applies clinical expertise to ensure compliance with medical policies necessity guidelines and standards of care using evidence-based criteria and practicing within license scope.
Consults with physician advisors for appropriate clinical determinations and serves as a resource to internal/external customers.
Collaborates across departments to resolve claims quality of care and member/provider issues while identifying problems and participating in improvement efforts.
Communicates professionally with members providers and regulatory organizations while protecting confidential information.
Provides consistent accurate documentation of all case activities.
Organizes and prioritizes assignments to meet performance standards corporate goals and deadlines.

The expected hiring range for a Behavioral Health Case Management Clinician is $42.00 - $44.00 an hour depending on skills experience education and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $34.20 - $55.70 an hour.
