Job Title - Engineer / Senior Engineer - Production
Job Profile Summary:
The role of the Production Supervisor is to guarantee manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Entry-level requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience preferably from escalator industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Performance Measures:
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Problem-solving skills
Professional requirements:
- Excellent knowledge in operation production (lean manufacturing and 5 S principles) quality (Six sigma) logistics and supply chain management
- Project and change management skills
- Good knowledge of automation systems Labor law and industrial relations knowledge is an added advantage
Behavioral competence:
- Execution winning through people Decision making Collaboration Stress tolerance Quality focus Analysis and problem solving Environmental awareness
What will you be doing
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Overseeandcoach employees
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new existing employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards Develop people and keep them in high spirits
