Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics in Emmetsburg IA
Join a family-focused team at a modern facility in Emmetsburg Iowa and be a part of the Palo Alto County Health System. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician specializing in Obstetrics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care including obstetrics.
- Perform C-sections and participate in emergency department shifts.
- Manage a busy practice with immediate patient volume.
- Join a collaborative team of 3 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Tailor your practice to fit your interests while ensuring excellent work-life balance.
- Contribute to a modern 25-bed critical access hospital offering a full spectrum of healthcare services.
- Utilize available on-site lab pharmacy and other specialty services.
- Assist in market growth by providing obstetric services in a community that currently lacks them.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Completed OB Fellowship prior to start date.
- Demonstrated interest and ability to perform C-sections.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Iowa medical license or IMLC (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- DEA and Controlled Substance registrations.
