Job Description
- Create part numbers and structure complex BOMs (Bills of Materials)- Create manage and process Engineering Change Orders Manufacturer Change Orders and Deviations- Communicate BOM status within the development team while driving timely part released and correspond documentation - Work with cross functional partners to obtain information required for the role- Support DRP Build program (Nimbus)- Work on multiple projects concurrently- Detailed oriented - International/Domestic travel may be required at times to support build activities- Oversee Apple security and safety product requirements
- 3 years of NPI program management (or consumer electronics industry related) logistics and overseas supplier/contract manufacturer management
- BA/BS degree or industry experience
- Knowledge of configuration management and BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products)
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Off-hour support required via email phone or WebEx as needed
- Proven track record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to be onsite in Apple office
- Have an understanding of complex Bills of Materials and documentation experience
- Experience with PLM tools Agile experience is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team
- Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive and fast pace environment
- Experience with facilitating and tracking program budgets
- Willing to travel if needed
