Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Summary: We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN to provide coverage for a 1:2 practice in Grand Island Nebraska. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities in a vibrant community with a supportive healthcare environment including clinic labor & delivery and surgical duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a clinic setting.
- Manage labor and delivery services ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Perform standard gynecologic surgeries in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Participate in after-hours call coverage and city call rotations.
- Collaborate with clinical support staff including CNMs and ultrasound technicians.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified OBGYN Required
- Valid NE License or IMLC Required
- Completed OB/GYN residency Required
- Current BLS DEA and NRP certifications Required
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Availability for credentialing at the time of name clear Required
- CDS Certification and DEA Registration Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- BLS NRP and DEA certifications
