Perm - Physician - Critical Care
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Critical Care Nocturnist in Albany NY. This opportunity allows you to contribute to patient care at two esteemed hospitals: Samaritan Hospital in Troy and St. Peters Hospital in Albany. This facility is dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient coverage while ensuring a supportive work environment. Full-time positions are available focusing on critical care services.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services at Samaritan Hospital (Troy NY) or St. Peters Hospital (Albany NY).
- Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Deliver care within a closed ICU setting.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) specifically EPIC for documentation and patient management.
- Cover the ICU during your shift as a nocturnist.
- Weekend shifts may be expected as part of the schedule.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care.
- Strong MICU experience is a must.
- Active New York license or willingness to obtain one.
- DEA registration required or willingness to obtain.
License and Certification Requirements
- Active New York State medical license is required.
- DEA registration is required or must be obtained prior to employment.
- All candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care.
