Instrument TechnicianResponsible for assisting with the repairs adjustments and ongoing/preventative maintenance on equipment buildings systems or machinery. Areas of specialization may include but are not limited to the following: electrical mechanical vacuum motors hydraulic fuels gasoline diesel refrigeration and all other types of equipment. May assist with maintenance for electrical painting HVAC and/or carpentry meters gauges switches valves pumps plumbing fixtures plasters brick and woodwork. Build sheds and other outbuildings. Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all tools measuring instruments and equipment necessary to perform work. Typically rquires working knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through formal training or work experience. Works under moderate supervision in straightforward situations assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions. Work is typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma with at least 2 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
