Support Worker (Female Only)
Location: Kingsway Gloucester
Contract: 45 hours per week
Salary: 12.56 per hour
This role is subject to a DBS check which will be provided by Prosperity Care & Wellbeing.

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate resilient and experienced female Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to a young woman in her early 20s. She has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder Disorganised Attachment Disorder Dyspraxia and Anxiety and requires someone who can offer patient trauma-informed support tailored to her unique needs.
Due to her preference and the nature of the support required this position is open to female applicants only (Exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 Part 1).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent person-centred support that promotes independence emotional well-being and routine while using trauma-informed approaches to build trust assist with daily tasks through verbal prompts support community access and appointments ensure a calm and safe environment and offer transport as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Female (genuine occupational requirement)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Experience working with individuals with complex emotional needs and/or trauma backgrounds
- Understanding of autism anxiety and neurodiversity
- Ability to work in a calm non-judgmental and supportive way
- Reliable patient and emotionally resilient
