Located inMidvale Normet specialises in innovative equipment including industry-leading Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge systems while benefiting from comprehensive training and ongoing professional development.

Primarily based in our workshop the position also requires flexibility to undertakefield service work across Western Australiaas needed. A rate of$78 per hourapplies for field service assignments.

What youll need

• Strong auto-electrical knowledge experience and aptitude.

• Certificate III Auto Electrical or equivalent (Light Vehicle/ Marine/Heavy Road Transport/Agricultural).

• Ability to read electrical schematics with problem solving and diagnostic skills

• Experience working in Mining/Construction/Manufacturing/Heavy Machinery

• Previous underground experience is highly desirable

• Current Forklift license (desirable)

• Be willing and flexible to perform field service work across Western Australia when needed.

• Full working rights in Australia.

The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/electronic system modifications and manufacturing tasks on Normet underground machines

• Conduct fault finding repairing replacing and providing technical advice

• Inspect audit service repair and overhaul Normet equipment to OEM specifications in workshop or remote mine sites

• Electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles and plant equipment.
