Job Description
Insert Hotel Name is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to handle overnight operations including auditing daily financial transactions and ensuring the safety and security of the property. If you are a self-starter with excellent organizational skills this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Where You Can Make an Impact:
- Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Handle guest check-ins check-outs and reservation requests during overnight hours.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Monitor property security and report any unusual activity.
- Prepare and distribute daily operational reports for management.
- Balance and audit room charges food and beverage sales and other revenue streams.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks during the shift if needed.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while assisting guests.
- Collaborate with the morning team for a seamless shift transition.
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a hotel front desk or accounting role preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle overnight shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving and guest service skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial auditing and reconciliation.
- Flexibility to adapt to various operational needs.
