Our location in Temecula CA currently has an opportunity for a Facilities Technician IV (Electrician).
THIS IS AN ONSITE DAILY REQUIRED POSITION
WHAT YOULL DO:
Maintainsfacilitiesfacilitieselectrical systemsandequipmentinordertoprovideasafeefficientandcomfortable equipment;installation and repair of 480v/208v electrical systems circuits motors transformers etc. moveandinstallationofequipmentandorfurniture;: Providesvalidationtechnicalassistancetoengineeringtosupportmanufacturingeffortsbyimplementing required.(Northern/SouthernCalifornia)
- ResponsibleforcompliancewithapplicableCorporateandDivisionalPoliciesandprocedures.
- Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge Microsoft office and CMMS.
- Performsplantand/orofficefacilitiesmaintenancedutiessuchasfurnituremovingmaintenanceofoffice equipmentsimpleelectricalprojectsspotpaintingorcleaninglightconstructionorexteriorcleanup.;
- Performsroutinerepairsandmaintenanceofplantand/orofficefacilitiesandequipmentbyusinghandor powertoolsasrequired.;
- Setsupandoperatesalltoolsandequipmentnecessarytoperformassigned work.;
- Performsworkinmorethanoneofthemaintenancetrades:carpentryplumbingpaintingmachine andequipmentrepairelectricalandHVACsheetmetalfabricationandweldingfortheconstructionrepair and/oralterationofstructuressuchaswallsroofsorofficefixtures.
- Makesroutineperiodic orspecialinspectionstodeterminerepairandmaintenanceworknecessarytopreventbreakdownsoffacilities machineryandequipment.(IntermediateandSeniorLevels); engineeringintheinstallationorrepairofbuildingplumbingandwiringrequiredintheproductionprocess.
- Testsinspectstroubleshootsandrepairsmachinesandequipmentand reportsproblemstosupervisorasappropriate.;
- Workswithoutsidecontractorsonfacilitiesandequipment repairs.;
- Interpretsblueprintssketcheslayoutswiringdiagramsdrawingsandspecifications.(Senior Level);
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING:
Minimum Education
8yearsofrelatedelectrical -year degreeorsomecollegecreditspreferred.
Minimum Training/Experience
Apprenticeship:
- Completion of an approved 8000 hour electrical apprenticeship program which includes both on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
- Must hold current California State Electrical Journeyman License.
- Strong knowledge of medium voltage infrastructure single line distribution and controls.
