Job Description
Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity in Georgetown DE
SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is actively seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist for a rewarding position in historic Georgetown DE. This facility is committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals with a range of psychiatric disorders. Join a supportive team where you can focus on patient care without the need for call or weekend shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychiatric care to an average of 18 patients per day.
- Work Monday to Friday during day shift hours allowing for a great work-life balance.
- No weekends or on-call duties required.
- Treat a variety of psychiatric disorders including anxiety disorders affective disorders ADD/ADHD eating disorders and more.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 psychiatrists and 3 advanced practice providers.
- Utilize Wellsky EMR for patient management.
- Maintain knowledge and familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency) in Psychiatry.
- Delaware medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
License and Certification Requirements:
