Job Summary

Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Join a dedicated healthcare team in Kearney Nebraska as an Interventional Cardiologist. This facility offers a supportive environment with a focus on quality patient care. As a locum provider youll have the opportunity to work with an experienced team engaging in clinic duties inpatient rounds and taking call as needed. The facility itself boasts 175 beds and utilizes EMR-EPIC for efficient patient management.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct inpatient rounds Monday through Friday with an average census of 8-10 patients.
Perform add-on catheterization procedures primarily for inpatients averaging 8-9 per week.
Engage in weekend inpatient rounds with an average census of 6-7 patients.
Treat STEMI patients during call responsibilities.
Participate in clinic hours from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekdays when not covering inpatient service.
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and Hospitalists for patient care.
Maintain thorough case logs and documentation required by the client.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Active Nebraska medical license or valid IMLC license.
Demonstrated ability to read echocardiograms.
Prior experience in cardiology with detailed case logs and CV required for application.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (Required).
Nebraska License or Active IMLC (Required).
Submission of case logs and CV with work history before the interview process.
