Our client is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their team! Our client has been manufacturing different steel containers for over 60 years and isnt slowing down anytime soon!
The Maintenance Technician would be in charge of performing maintenance such as s inspecting drives motors or belts checking fluid levels replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
* Dismantle machines equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists cranes hand tools or power tools.
* Perform routine maintenance such as inspecting drives motors or belts checking fluid levels replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
* Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
* Electrical repairs to include trouble shooting. Repairs dealing with high and low voltage.
Qualifications and Skills:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing / plant maintenance.
* Steel stamping and forming- a plus.
* Mechanical electrical pneumatic experience
* Experience in a trade school is a plus
* Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds for certain positions
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
