Job Description
Job Opportunity: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Atlantic City NJ
Join a vibrant perinatal team in a full-time position as a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across outpatient and inpatient settings at two cutting-edge locations in New JerseyPomona and Atlantic City. You will thrive in a state-of-the-art clinical environment equipped with advanced technology and comprehensive patient care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of 3 Perinatologists and 2 Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs)
- Maintain a 5-day work week with standard office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM
- Rotate between outpatient locations in Pomona and Atlantic City
- Provide inpatient consultative services at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for Childbirth in Pomona
- Participate in a rotating consultative call schedule including nights and weekends
- Utilize Cerner EMR system and GE Viewpoint for ultrasound reporting
- Collaborate with Obstetrics Medicine Clinic for postpartum management
- Support remote patient monitoring for diabetic and hypotensive patients
- Offer consultative services to OB Generalists and Neonatologists
- Work within a Level III NICU facility with 22 beds 9 labor and delivery beds and 25 private postpartum beds
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (REQUIRED)
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license or willingness to obtain (REQUIRED)
- DEA and CSR/CDS certification (REQUIRED)
- Malpractice history disclosure (REQUIRED)
- Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination compliance (REQUIRED)
- Willingness to rotate between Pomona and Atlantic City locations (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Active New Jersey medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA certification
- Controlled Substance certification (CSR/CDS)
