Machine Refinishing Technician
Direct opportunity
Rate: $23-25/hr
Hours: 6am-2:30pm M-F-OT when needed
West Chester OH
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks related to the preparation and painting of returned machines as well as machine teardown and subassembly functions.
- Disassembly and preparation of equipment for refurbishment including sanding dent removal welding and fabrication.
- Proper mixing of paint and chemicals.
- Painting of industrial machines and parts.
- Operation and preventive maintenance of industrial paint booth with heated drying system.
- Proper cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Assist other team members asworkloadand priorities shift.
- WearPPEandrespirator in adherence to OSHA and all safety standards promote a safe workplace.
- Follow and apply all applicable safety requirements to comply with regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a clean work area in accordance with 5S.
- Assist withthecratingof machines when needed.
- Ability to drive and operate a forklift.
- Operate company vehicles (box truck).
- Prepare subassemblies and kits per equipment assembly diagrams blueprints and work instructions.
- Teardown and cleaning of returned machines.
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks as they arise.
- Willing to work in other areas of the facility when required.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED
-Trade school or vocational training
-1 to 2 years experience of industrial or automotive painting and mechanical experience in assembly and disassembly required
-Welding experience(preferred)
-Be detailed oriented results driven and ability to analyze and problem solve
-Represent the company ina positiveand professional manner and work well in a team environment
-Have strong verbal and written skills
