Job Description
Location: Hybrid ONSITE In office MONDAY AND TUESDAY remote other days -
1 Renaissance Plaza Oak Brook Terrace Illinois
Duration: 6 months
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves gathering requirements designing and developing dashboards reports and data models as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and improve performance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
- Provides technical support for existing reports dashboards or other tools. Works with staff in other departments to identify business intelligence and operational data needs for the creation of reports dashboards and/or other outputs.
- Collects business intelligence data from available internal data sources industry reports public information and/or purchased sources. Synthesize current and historical business intelligence and trend data to support strategic and operational business requirements.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Five to seven years of experience in developing business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Proficiency in developing business intelligence and Analytics Solution using Power BI including DAX and power Query.
- Expert in SQL writing complex stored procedures
- Experience with warehouse data modeling techniques
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure data stack Synapse and Fabrics
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and formal communication abilities to interact effectively with executives and staff at all levels in the organization.
- Demonstrate success in meeting deadlines and assigned accountabilities for complex projects.
