Job Description
Role: Data Quality/Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Madison Wisconsin.
- Design and implement data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to ensure file formats schema consistency completeness and business logic compliance.
- Establish SLA monitoring frameworks to oversee external file delivery timeliness frequency and adherence to contractual or operational expectations.
- Develop alerting and exception workflows for missing late or malformed file deliveries.
- Profile incoming data in Azure Blob Storage and Snowflake for issues like null values duplicates schema drift or logic violations.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to seamlessly integrate validation steps into ingestion pipelines.
- Define quality thresholds acceptance criteria and reporting standards in collaboration with business and governance stakeholders.
- Create documentation dashboards and issue logs to monitor quality metrics and SLA performance.
- Contribute to root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality breaches or SLA violations.
Requirements:
- 3 years of advanced experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) encompassing rule creation data profiling and monitoring.
- Knowledge of financial datasets specifically security master and holding datasets used in investment operations.
- Proficiency in Snowflake including experience with profiling and managing large datasets.
- Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage Snowflake Snowpipe and FactSet.
- Experience in designing and supporting SLA monitoring and alerting systems.
