JOB TITLE: Design and Analysis Engineer L3 - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Hazelwood MO
PAY RATE: $75/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
-
Analyze and translate requirements into system hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
-
Test and validate designs to ensure operational and functional compliance.
-
Monitor supplier performance for system integration and requirement adherence.
-
Support and troubleshoot fielded hardware/software throughout the product lifecycle. Research emerging technologies for potential company applications.
Requirements:
-
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance post-start.
-
5 years experience with a Bachelors 3 years with a Masters or equivalent with a PhD in relevant fields. ABET accreditation preferred.

Bachelors in Engineering Engineering Technology Physics Chemistry Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science with 3 years experience or Masters with 1 year.

Experience in system requirements analysis schematic design and hardware/software integration.
-
Knowledge of communication protocols and standards (RS422/RS232 PC104 TCP/IP Ethernet IEEE-488 MMSI MIL-STD-1553).

Familiarity with military hardware design/testing standards (MIL-STD).

Proficient in CAD and electrical schematics.

Experience with JIRA for project management (cost/schedule management milestones SOW execution).
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles or certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security).

Experience in network design MBSE or systems engineering tools (DOORs CAMEO earned value management).

Experience with product/systems development integration and technical domains (air vehicles/weapons).
