JOB TITLE: Manufacturing & Assembly Technician
LOCATION: North Charleston SC
PAY RATE: $26/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Perform machine set-up machining sheet metal fabrication tube bending and composite lay-up
-
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components power plants drive trains wire harnesses and avionics
-
Conduct soldering organic coating applications and basic chemical conversion and paint prep
-
Use drawings and work instructions to perform tasks on articles of limited complexity
-
Support testing by preparing fixtures and data collection devices
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience or equivalent education/experience
-
Manufacturing or assembly experience
-
Strong communication skills work ethic and a sense of urgency in completing tasks
-
Must successfully complete and clear all screening requirements before assignment
-
Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions (written and verbal)
-
Must be able to work any shift as assigned
-
Must pass all background/screening requirements
-
Resume must be current and include verified degree (if listed)

Schedules may change per production needs

Regular and predictable attendance

Strong communication skills work ethic and urgency

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

Fabrication experience
