Job Description:
- We are seeking a Test Engineer/Technician to join our innovative team on a contract basis.
- In this role you will be at the forefront of wireless technology responsible for conducting field tests that ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

- As a Field Test Engineer you will be traveling to various locations to perform tests analyze data and provide valuable feedback.

- Looking for an engineer but who ideally has both some hardware/hands-on ability (not necessarily design but ability to debug a circuit) and software experience/knowledge with layer 2 and layer 3 networking protocols.
- Contract Field Test Engineer experience.
- 3-to-6-month assignment
- Working in outdoor setting
- Ability to carry and set up equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up portable outdoor WIFI network.
- Run tests on systems.
- Measure performance
- Analyze data throughput.
- Identify issues with network.
- Identify/propose solutions.
- Test multiple configurations based on different environments.
- Design and execute field tests for WIFI based portable communication devices.
- Collect and analyze data from field tests to improve product performance.
- Work closely with product development teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and functionality.
Requirements:
- Minimum of electronics technician degree or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field experience.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel to various testing locations as needed.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and software used in the wireless industry.
- Ability to work outdoors and carry some field equipment over uneven terrain.
