The Business Readiness Deployment Lead is responsible for ensuring that the business is fully prepared to adopt and operate the new SAP S/4HANA solution upon go-live. This role acts as the bridge between the program and business functions ensuring that people processes and organizational capabilities are aligned and ready for deployment. The focus is on non-technical aspects of deployment including business process adoption organizational alignment change readiness training communication and readiness monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills : Deployment Coordination: Coordinate business deployment activities across functions and geographies. Manage business go-live preparations including readiness workshops checklists business continuity procedures ramp-down/up planning and legacy system handover. Drive alignment on business cutover tasks including manual workarounds freeze periods and handoffs between legacy and SAP processes. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management: Serve as the single point of contact for business readiness within the deployment team. Work closely with Change Management to monitor business sentiment and user preparedness. Support stakeholder alignment through consistent communication and issue resolution. Facilitate readiness forums with Business Deployment Leads and Regional/Site Coordinators. Training and Communications Oversight: Collaborate with Training Leads to ensure business users receive role-based training aligned with readiness timelines. Monitor training completion effectiveness and certification where applicable. Ensure consistent messaging across business units by partnering with the Communications team to deliver targeted communications. Risk and Issue Management: Identify log and track business readiness risks and issues through to resolution. Proactively escalate critical readiness gaps or delays to program leadership.
