Deputy Care Manager Mental Health Focused.
Location: Gloucestershire (with flexibility to work across sites)
Hours: 40 hours per week (on call responsibilities)
Shifts: 3 days care (alternative weekends) 2 days admin.

About the Role
As the Deputy Care Manager you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals with a wide range of needs with a strong presence in our mental health service. Many of those you support may be living with complex mental health conditions alongside Autism learning and physical disabilities and behaviours that may challenge. Your focus will be on promoting independence life skills and personal development to help individuals lead safe stable and fulfilling lives.
Leading by example you will inspire and support your team fostering a positive and empowering environment. Youll be actively involved in developing staff through hands-on leadership promoting person-centred recovery-focused approaches and ensuring high standards of care across all services.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing service maintenance conducting audits allocating roles facilitating staff inductions and shadowing assessing competencies and providing debriefs. You will be integral to the smooth day-to-day running of the service and the continued development of your team.
