Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Product Delivery Consultant for a multi-year contract in Indianapolis IN.
Product Delivery Consultant Responsibilities:
The Product Delivery Consultant will primarily act as the product owner and be embedded within the Software Engineering team to facilitate the translation of feature ideas to detailed user stories that can be developed by the engineering team.
The Product Delivery Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best possible user experience.
Support Product Development: Manage product backlog gather stakeholder input and ensure user needs are effectively communicated.
Translate Requirements into Action: Document and communicate business and technical requirements user stories and feature specifications for the software engineering team utilizing appropriate methods including user journey and persona development.
Optimize Backlog Management: Write and refine user stories prioritize tasks and collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
Facilitate Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a bridge between engineers designers and stakeholders ensuring that requirements feedback and expectations are clearly understood and addressed.
Measure Product Value: Everything (i.e. adoption conversion) the software engineering team delivers should be tracked via quantitative and/or qualitive measures and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
Lead Agile Processes: Actively participate and lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives to support efficient product development cycles.
Report Team Outcomes: serving as the voice of the team to communicate roadmap updates status velocity and key metrics tied to feature value delivery.
Product Delivery Consultant Requirements:
2-4 Years experience in a Product Owner Business Analyst or Scrum Master role working in an Agile software development environment.
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology tools and processes.
Proven ability to collaborate within a team to drive quantifiable results.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Familiarity with backlog management tools such as JIRA.
Familiarity with process documentation tools such as Miro.
Familiarity with product analytic tools such as Mixpanel.
Strong user empathy with the ability to translate insights into meaningful product enhancements.
CSPO CSM PMP or similar certification a plus
Experience acting as Scrum Master a plus
Experience integrating to Content Management Systems (i.e. Contentful Directus) a plus
