Job Description
Part-Time Nanny TW9 (Between Richmond/Kew)
Start Date: August/September
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: 29 hours per week
Monday:4.10 - 7.10pm
Tuesday:7.15am - 6.45pm
Wednesday - Off
Thursday: 7.15am - 6.45pm
Friday:3.40 - 6.40pm
29 hours per week
School Holidays: Flexibility required typically hours will be worked over 3 full days with 2 days off. Any additional hours will be paid and arranged in advance.
A warm patient and encouraging Nanny is required to care for two children a boy aged 8 and a girl aged 6
The family are seeking someone who truly understands the needs of developing children can support their emotional well-being and uses positive reinforcement. A playful and engaged nanny who enjoys spending time with children and nurturing their confidence and independence would be a great fit.
The nanny should also be able to support the children with their homework encouraging a positive attitude towards learning and helping them complete tasks with praise motivation and gentle structure. A playful and active nanny would be a great fit for this role.
A driver is preferred but not essential (with own car)
Applicants must:
Speak English clearly
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS (registered on the update service)
Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
Have strong checkable childcare references
Key qualities required:
Strong childcare experience with similar age groups
Emotionally attuned warm and adaptable
Encouraging and positive approach to homework and routines
Ability to foster confidence and independence
Reliable consistent and proactive in supporting the family
Seeking a long term commitment
Salary negotiable - Circa 20-22 gross per hour
