Description:PERFORMS SUCH TYPICAL DISTINGUISHING DUTIES AS:
Overhauls heating equipment by disassembling heater diagnosing trouble replacing or repairing worn and faulty parts such as burners baffles pilots governors floats strainers oil pumps and thermocouples.
Reassembles installs and functionally tests heating equipment calibrates and makes any adjustment required.
Works from blueprints sketches manufacturers specifications manuals verbal instructions and other authorized data.
Works at various heights.
Must meet minimum job skills requirements as outlined below to qualify for and hold this classification.
Be able to demonstrate a knowledge or have completed training in the following job skills:
- Blueprint Reading
- Industrial HVAC/R servicing
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesBasic Qualifications:
- EPA Universal Refrigerant License (608 License)
- 4 years of HVAC/R (such as Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning Refrigeration) experience or equivalent education/experience
Desired Skills:
Computer Skills
Siemens BMCS Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R repair troubleshooting and controls.
Commercial refrigeration knowledge.
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The base range for this position in California is $30.51 - $51.98.
