Job Description
Are you a skilled Radiation Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care Join our dedicated team in Ottumwa IA where youll deliver precise and compassionate radiation therapy in a state-of-the-art clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately according to prescribed protocols
- Monitor patient response and provide support and education throughout treatment
- Collaborate with oncologists dosimetrists and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations in radiation therapy
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Maintain a current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy
- Complete 24 hours of continuing education within a 2-year period
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
