Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EEG Technologist to join our healthcare team in Mayfield KY. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment while performing vital diagnostic procedures that directly impact patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized EEG studies with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare patients for testing ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout procedures
- Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment
- Review and document test results in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist ( T.) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
- Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Program or AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program or a minimum of two years of clinical EEG experience preferred
- Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist by the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology
- Minimum of one year of related experience preferred if not certified
- Strong technical skills and patient care focus
