A top-tier UK law firm is looking for a seasoned Costs Draftsperson to join its Core Services team on a 912 month fixed-term contract. The role centres on commercial litigation (not personal injury) and offers exposure to high-profile matters including national inquiries.
Youll work closely with senior lawyers collaborate with legal project management and help deliver strategic outcomes across the full spectrum of commercial costs work. There is also the opportunity to supervise a small team of paralegals and genuinely shape how the costs function operates.
Who were looking for
At least 5 years experience in costs drafting
Strong experience preparing bills of costs N260 forms and Precedent H budgets
Solid knowledge of solicitor-client and third-party costs
Comfortable working independently on commercial litigation files
Previous exposure to costs work for civil litigation and inquiries
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Able to supervise and support junior colleagues
