Job Title: People Technology Partner
Location: London or Cambridge Hybrid (50% working time at the office)
Employment Type: Full-time permanent
The job
This role is an integral part of the People Technology Team responsible for people related technology within AVEVA. You will be leading on Absence & Time related configuration in Workday as well as getting involved with other projects as needed. You will be part of a truly global team - Partnering with HR stakeholders around the globe to ensure technology is fit for purpose and provides a foundation to deliver an outstanding employee experience at AVEVA.
Key responsibilities
Own all related Functional People technology and take responsibility for maintaining and developing based on business requirements.
Lead on and manage change Requests using monthly sprints to Develop Test Deploy and Release. Support the release of the change request writing release notes and via providing demos to the wider team.
Be the Functional expert and 3rd line support for associated functional area. Point of escalation for technology related queries and issues.
Partner with the COE lead GPOs to ensure technology is fit for purpose and meets business needs. Recommend system enhancements and ensure we are maximising the capability of existing technology
Essential requirements
At least 2 years experience of configuring absence time off and time tracking functionality within Workday.
Bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience in a related discipline.
Experience providing Workday support for a Global organisation.
Able to lead conversations with internal stakeholders and external vendors around technology requirements.
Strong planning and project management skills are essential; manage time well recognise priorities and accomplish all objectives.
Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones.
Desired skills
Strong influencing skills.
Good communication skills able to communicate across cultures at all levels.
Well developed general IT skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook.
Understanding of data protection regulations like GDPR.
