Position Overview:
The Optometrist will providevision assessments eyeglass services and ocular health management.

Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
- Licensure: Active NYS Optometry License
- Experience:Geriatric optometry (preferred)
- Technical Skills:
- Ocular disease detection
- Eyeglass fitting/adjustment
- Soft Skills: Adaptive communication interdisciplinary collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vision exams and detect ocular diseases.
- Fit and adjust eyeglasses.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists for surgical cases.
- Provide two annual in-service trainings.
