Job Description:
MetrixIT Solutions is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines integrating data from various sources and ensuring data quality and integrity. You will work closely with our data scientists and analysts to support their data needs and drive business insights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines to ingest transform and process large volumes of data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources and systems
- Optimize data structures and algorithms for efficient data processing and analysis
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability of data
- Work on data warehousing solutions and data modeling to support analytics and reporting
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in data engineering ETL development and data warehousing
- Strong proficiency in SQL Python or other programming languages for data manipulation
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka
- Solid understanding of data modeling schema design and data optimization techniques
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering
- Experience in building scalable and high-performance data pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $70000 per year
- Maximum Salary: $180000 per year
