Job Description
Job Description: Database Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain database systems for the organization
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups disaster recovery planning and access controls
- Optimize database performance through monitoring tuning and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with software developers and IT team to integrate database systems with applications
- Develop data migration strategies for seamless transitions to new systems
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on database functionality
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle SQL Server MySQL
- Experience with database security backup and recovery best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration
- Experience working in a fast-paced IT environment
- Certifications in database management will be a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $56000 per year
- Maximum Salary: $120000 per year
