Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Refrigeration Technician.
Location: Lake Charles LA.

We cater to restaurants quick-service restaurants (QSRs) convenience stores retailers coffee shops and concession operations specializing in commercial cooking refrigeration and HVAC equipment. With our headquarters in Greenville SC we operate local branches across the nation.
Job Summary: As an HVAC Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Refrigeration Technician you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot maintain and repair various commercial kitchen equipment. To succeed in this role you must be self-sufficient possess strong technical and troubleshooting skills and demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment and related components for safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff regarding repair statuses maintaining schedule adherence and addressing any delays.
- Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available.
- Maintain service vehicle tools and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
- Serve as a positive role model for less experienced technicians and promote company values.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures particularly those related to safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Ownership of industry-standard hand tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Availability to work nights weekends and holidays as part of an on-call rotation (frequency varies).
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Previous experience as a commercial foodservice technician is preferred.
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
