Job Summary:
This role is for an X-Ray Technician who will float between units in a short-term acute care hospital. The position requires on-call availability weekend work and involves a 3/12-hour Friday Saturday and Sunday shift pattern (9:30 AM - 10:00 PM). The technician will work with a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:3.

Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures on patients.
- Maintaining and cleaning X-ray equipment.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Managing patient records and documentation.
- Floating between different hospital units as needed.
- Responding to on-call requests (minimum one per month).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current certification as an X-Ray Technician.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in X-ray techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (3/12 shifts).
- Ability to respond to on-call requests (minimum one per month).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a short-term acute care setting.
- Experience with various X-ray modalities.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Special Considerations:
