Job Description

Traveler MRI Technologist
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: MRI
Schedule: Monday Friday 07:30 16:00 40 hours per week

Our MRI department plays a critical role in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning and we are seeking a skilled Traveler MRI Technologist to join our team.

Position Summary
The Traveler MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures ensuring patient safety and maintaining compliance with departmental protocols. This role requires technical expertise precision and a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients selecting accurate anatomic and technical parameters for imaging.

  • Conduct patient pre-screening scheduling and provide education regarding MRI procedures.

  • Enter and monitor patient data transfer images to PACS and ensure accurate documentation.

  • Follow all MRI safety standards and radiation safety guidelines.

  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images with correct markers patient data and history.

  • Monitor MRI equipment performance and promptly report potential issues or malfunctions.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean organized and efficient MRI department.

Qualifications

  • ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.

  • Traveler MRI Tech experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in MRI imaging protocols and safety standards.

  • Strong communication organizational and patient-care skills.
