Job Details:
Were seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator with a strong background in highway bridge and roadway projects to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive bids for DOT and municipal transportation projects working closely with project managers engineers and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project plans specifications and RFP documents for Highway and Heavy civil work.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor materials equipment and subcontractor services.
Perform quantity takeoffs using digital takeoff and estimating software.
Identify and evaluate project risks value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil/highway construction.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management
