Job Description
Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer
Location: Remote Austin TX
Yrs of exp: 10
Duration: 12 Months
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Experience in software product development digital design UX/UI or a related field
- Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
- Experience conducting user and usability research
- Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
- Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
- Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts
- Documented experience developing wireframes mockups and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software
- Experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines
- A portfolio of user research visual design and usability studies that demonstrates a high level of professionalism
Preferred:
- Documented work experience with the issue tracking software Atlassian Jira
- Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
