Job Description

The Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations is a senior leadership positionresponsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies andalumni engagement programs while overseeing enrollment and marketing that supportthe mission and strategic goals of Trinity High School and St. Joseph Junior HighSchool. This position requires a dynamic professional who can build relationshipsinspire philanthropic support and strengthen connections between the school and itsalumni community while upholding the institutions Catholic values and ToPresident of SchoolsDirect Reports Dean of Student Life/Admissions Manager Development Associate/Administrative AssistantEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFundraising and DevelopmentAnnual Giving Program Management Design implement and oversee comprehensive annual giving campaigns. Establish and monitor annual fundraising goals and metrics. Develop donor acquisition and retention strategies. Create and manage donor recognition programs and stewardship activities. Oversee direct mail email and digital fundraising Gift Development Identify cultivate solicit and steward major gift prospects ($10000). Conduct portfolio management for 75-100 major gift prospects. Implement management strategies to advance prospects through the givingpipeline. Collaborate with President on gift solicitations and creating the Presidents Club. Develop and maintain prospective research and wealth screening Campaign Leadership Assist the President with current capital campaign. Provide support materials and campaign communications. Attend campaign events and build Writing and Corporate Relations Research and apply for foundation and corporate grants. Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations. Create corporate partnership and sponsorship opportunities. Manage grant reporting and compliance Relations and EngagementAlumni Programming Plan and execute alumni events including homecoming reunions Gala golftournament and special celebrations. Develop class reunion programs and milestone anniversary celebrations. Create and manage alumni volunteer programs and committees. Establish alumni career networking and mentorship opportunities. Coordinate alumni speaker programs and campus and Outreach Manage alumni database and ensure data integrity. Oversee alumni communications including newsletters social media andwebsite content. Develop and implement alumni engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms. Create recognition programs for outstanding alumni achievements. Maintain relationships with class representatives and volunteer Planning and AdministrationInstitutional Leadership Serve on senior leadership team and contribute to strategic planning processes. Develop and manage advancement office budget and resources. Prepare regular reports for administration board and stakeholders. Collaborate with admissions marketing and other departments on institutionalpriorities. Represent the school at community events and professional developmentopportunities. Oversee admissions strategies for continued growth in Management and Analysis Oversee donor database management and gift processing. Analyze fundraising performance and create strategic recommendations. Develop and monitor key performance indicators and success metrics. Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations and ethical standards. Maintain confidentiality of donor information and institutional QualificationsEducation Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred (Business Administration Nonprofit ManagementCommunications or related field).Experience Minimum 5 years of professional fundraising experience with demonstratedsuccess in major gifts annual giving event planning and campaigns. 3 years of management and supervisory experience. Experience with alumni relations programming and engagement strategies. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals. Experience working with volunteer boards and Skills Proficiency with donor management software (Little Green Light or similar). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPointOutlook). Experience with digital fundraising platforms and social media management. Website content management and email marketing platform experience. Grant writing and research Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience with event planning and execution. Knowledge of fundraising ethics and best practices. Understanding of planned giving concepts and QualificationsAdditional Experience Experience in Catholic or faith-based educational environments. Capital campaign management experience ($1M campaigns). Planned giving program development and administration. Corporate and Foundation Relations Experience. Experience with prospective research and wealth screening Development Preferred Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) membership. Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) involvement. Continuing education in advancement and nonprofit Attributes Understanding of and commitment to Catholic education and values. Ability to articulate the mission and vision of Catholic secondary education. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse constituencies. Demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making. Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving Conditions and Physical RequirementsSchedule Expectations Full-time position with standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Evening and weekend work required for events and donor meetings. Travel required for alumni events donor visits and professional development asneeded. Flexible schedule to accommodate donor availability and event Environment Professional office environment with open collaboration. Regular interaction with students faculty staff alumni and community members. High-energy fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
