Travel Expectations
This role includes a variable regional travel requirement estimated at 20%50% per month depending on program needs. While telehealth services are also provided you will primarily travel to support EMPOWER sites:
- New Bern
- Elizabeth City
- Ahoskie
- Greenville
- Morehead City
- Wilmington
All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay and depending on cost-effectiveness a travel vehicle may be provided. Youll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What Youll Do
- Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
- Train and mentor staff DSPs and supervisors in ABA best practices.
- Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER ICS ABA) to maximize outcomes.
- Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
- Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
- Experience:
- 3 years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
- 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Experience delivering behavior-focused training to staff
- Strong written/verbal communication organization and time management skills
- Valid drivers license proof of insurance and unrestricted driving privileges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
- Ability to work effectively with participants families and teams in homes schools and community settings
