We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Foreign Trade Analyst in Peoria IL.

PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts integrated logistics and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

Job Summary:

The Foreign Trade Analyst manages customs operation import/export on-time delivery activities and procedures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Additional Info:

• This position requires the candidate to work a 5 day-a-week schedule in the Peoria IL office.
• Relocation Offered: None.

• Travel: Up to 10% (domestic only)

What You Will Do:

• Coordinating procedures across functions for the import and export management to ensure the execution of compliant shipments and foster a cooperative atmosphere towards customer service.
• Monitoring special programs of import/export accounts; assisting in obtaining and preparing all necessary documentations in related logistics business.

What You Have (Required Skills):

• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Internal Resource Coordination: Knowledge of the techniques tools and applications associated with coordination of internal resources; ability to synchronize and integrate activities responsibilities and command and control structures to ensure that internal resources are used most efficiently in pursuit of business objectives.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Import/Export - MFG: Knowledge of issues procedures tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):

• Bachelors degree or in lieu of degree 2 years of experience in trade operations or management
• Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand predict and control the movement of goods materials and supplies.
• Office Support Tools: Knowledge of commonly used office hardware software and equipment; ability to use the tools available at the desktop (for example: word processing email presentation software and spreadsheets.)
• Experience with ONESOURCE
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with PowerBi
