As a Senior Scientist in Laboratory Operations you will serve as a technical specialist driving continuous process improvement and ensuring high-quality analytical performance across laboratory functions.
What youll be doing:
- Performing and documenting analytical procedures with precision and consistency in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Leading quality investigations assigning and completing CAPAs and verifying effectiveness.
- Overseeing technology transfer of methods and SOPs across departments.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure assay scalability and sustainability.
- Providing technical leadership in troubleshooting root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Identifying and leading continuous process improvement initiatives including cost-saving metrics.
- Training laboratory staff in areas of proven competency and ensuring SOP accuracy through regular reviews.
- Preparing and uploading data analysis results to LIMS and supporting documentation for laboratory assays.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in a chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science medical laboratory technology or cytotechnology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Other equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The knowledge skills and abilities needed for this role:
- Strong proficiency in laboratory techniques and calculations including averages standard deviations and quality control metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and laboratory operations.
- Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and synthesize information across disciplines.
