Overview
The Ascendancy Group is seeking an experienced JOPES Planner to support USCENTCOMs strategic planning and operational deployment efforts. This role requires deep expertise in the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) force deployment analysis and coordination across joint multinational and interagency environments. Youll play a critical role in shaping and synchronizing mission execution across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Security Requirement: A Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis of full-spectrum operations in joint multinational and interagency contexts.
Produce detailed graphics written analysis and operational products that reflect the evolving strategic picture for USCENTCOM leadership.
Analyze and synchronize other DoD interagency and multinational operations to align with USCENTCOM objectives.
Apply automation and computer modeling tools to enhance operational analysis and planning.
Incorporate JOPES Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) into strategic and operational plans.
Coordinate with USTRANSCOM to assess mission feasibility and ensure deployment synchronization.
Conduct functional analysis of operational plans up to Level 4 detail including:
Level 1 Commanders Estimate
Level 2 Base Plan
Level 3 Concept Plan
Level 4 Operation Plan
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of military experience
Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing JOPES
Minimum 3 years of experience at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters
Strong analytical and visualization skills
Proficiency in force deployment planning and strategic coordination
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with USCENTCOM or in the CENTCOM AOR
Familiarity with USTRANSCOM coordination processes
Expertise in operational modeling and simulation tools
