This Position reports to:
Supervisor (Production)In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect ground splice terminate and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to supervise shift teams progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery equipment and assembly lines within a production area. You will showcase your expertise by cooperating with the supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforcing production schedules and quality.
You will be mainly accountable for:
the flow of material people and information in a particular work area
ensuring operators have the necessary tools equipment and support necessary to perform job operations
Work Order/Kanban Management
Inventory Management
DMR Re-work excess control material handling etc)
Production Transactions
Area Issue Management
Scrap Review
Qualifications for the role
High School diploma/GED is required
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Leadership experience preferred
Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
