POSITION SUMMARY
As the IGA Lead you will be an integral member of the cybersecurity department while also collaborating with stakeholders across the university ecosystem and reporting to the Manager IGA and Directory Services.This is a full-time exempt position eligible for all of USCs fantastic Benefits Perks. This opportunity is remote.
The IGA Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of identity and access management (IAM) systems and leads the development and management of the identity governance administration (IGA) product roadmap. Manages IGA-related projects from inception to completion as well as the design development and implementation of IAM systems and solutions. Conducts regular risk assessments identifies priorities and evaluates availability of resources. Develops implements and enforces IAM and IGA policies and procedures. Provides leadership and mentorship to the IGA team.
The IGA Lead will:
Oversees the day-to-day operations of IAM systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Ensures the security and integrity of digital identities across the university. Provides leadership and mentorship to the IGA team.
Leads the development and management of the IGA product roadmap; ensures alignment with university goals. Manages IGA-related projects from inception to completion; ensures timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Oversees both the engineering and operational aspects of the IAM framework.
Manages the design development and implementation of IAM systems and solutions. Ensures the integration of IAM systems with other university systems and applications.
Prioritizes tasks and projects based on business needs risk assessments and resource availability. Conducts regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks. Collaborates with vendors to resolve product issues; conducts technology evaluations to identify issues and vendor performance.
Develops implements and enforces IAM and IGA policies and procedures tailored to university needs.
Collaborates with IT HR academic departments and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IAM processes. Communicates with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Great candidates for the position of IGA Lead will meet the following qualifications:
5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
A bachelors degree or combined experience and education as substitute for minimum education.
Proven experience in managing IGA-related projects from inception to completion.
Demonstrated ability to lead the development and management of IAM product roadmaps.
In-depth knowledge of IAM systems and solutions (e.g. SailPoint Savyint) including design development and implementation.
Experience in ensuring the integration of IAM systems with other organizational systems and applications.
Demonstrated experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of IAM systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Ability to develop and enforce identity governance policies and procedures tailored to organizational needs.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional candidates for the position of IGA Lead will also bring the following qualifications or more:
7 years of related experience.
A bachelors degree in information science or computer science or computer engineering or in related field(s); or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
Cyber certification (e.g. CISSP CISM)

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The annual base salary range for this position is $150433.13 to $168158.88. When extending an offer of employment the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer alignment federal state and local laws contractual stipulations grant funding as well as external market and organizational considerations.
